Advanced Sports Training – SPORTFIT

Our Advanced Sports Training – SPORTFIT program helps athletes of all ages develop efficient movement patterns for their sport and increase strength, power, speed, and agility.

Our SPORTFIT Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists, and Strength and Conditioning Specialists specialize in analyzing movement breakdowns and sports demands to create individualized training sessions developing efficient and effective strategies for sport.

TEAM TRAINING

The team program enhances sports performance and reduces injury through strength, power and agility drills emphasizing safe and efficient movement patterns.

  • "I am the Vice Chair of Special Olympics and it has been a real honor to work with the staff at the Bridge as they graciously put together a program for our athletes who competed in Medicine Hat for the Summer Games in soccer.  All of the girls volunteered their time to go over the basics in stretches, warm ups, and other conditioning this spring and our athletes provided sweat, high fives and lots of hugs to power them to a bronze medal at the games.  It was such a good program that we hope to expand it in the future with some of our other athlete’s to teach them all some valuable health lessons."
