I’m originally from Lloydminster, AB, and I’ve always had a passion for sport, as well as how the body works. Growing up I played hockey and was a competitive snowboarder, and I realized how much care the body needed outside of training. After figuring out how much of a difference massage therapy made in my life, I decided to purse a career as a Massage Therapist, and enrolled in the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at MacEwan University. During my study period, I continued my love of being at the rink and worked as an onsite Sports Massage Therapist and Trainer for various hockey clubs, including teams at the Bantam and Midget AAA levels. Throughout this time, I realized I had a passion for teaching athletes how their muscles function and how they should be taking care of their body. Now that I have completed school, you can still find me on the bench with teams of the Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club!
I also am working away slowly at finishing a Degree to receive my Bachelors in Health Science, and plan on taking many more courses to broaden my knowledge and help me become a better Massage Therapist.
