It is used to improve grip strength and upper extremity stabilization by bending, twisting, or oscillation movement. It has been research-proven effective for Tennis Elbow, offering a cost-effective treatment that requires no injection or expensive equipment.
The Kinesio Taping Method is applied over muscles to reduce pain and inflammation, relax overused tired muscles, and to support muscles in movement on a 24hr/day basis. It is non-restrictive type of taping which allows for full range of motion.
Kinesio Tape is used for anything from headaches to foot problems and everything in between. Examples include: carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back strain/pain (subluxations, herniated disc), knee conditions, shoulder conditions, hamstring, groin injury, rotator cuff injury, whiplash, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, patella tracking, pre and post surgical edema, ankle sprains, athletic preventative injury method,and as a support method.
Fitness fads come and go but every now and then, a trend comes along that actually makes sense. One such trend is our new focus on core strength and functional training which involves strengthening the torso for better workouts and less injuries. Our favorite tool for core strength is the exercise ball. It’s one of the best ways to strengthen the abs and back and increase stability.
Weight training: Use the stability ball asyour new ‘weight bench’ to add difficulty to the movements and incorporate the muscles of your legs, butt and abs. Abdominal training. Doing crunches, twists and other traditional exercises on the ball adds difficulty to the movement by recruiting more muscles.
Sitting around: Just sitting on an exercise ball can be a challenge and it’s a great way to improve your posture when sitting in front of a computer or watching television.
