Alberta Health (AH) does provide funding for a very limited number of new patients each day. AH provides further limited funding for patients who have had a recent fracture or surgery or who have a very severe injury.

Many extended health care plans through your work, your spouse or your own plan have provisions for physiotherapy. It’s best to check your plan to see what is covered. Our fees are due at the time of treatment and we will give you a receipt which you submit to insurance for reimbursement.
WCB will cover your first visit –the initial assessment and treatment. Further treatments are approved by WCB.
Call your insurer immediately after the accident. You can usually claim Physical Therapy on your insurance but you must seek treatment from a primary care provider within 10 days of the accident to be eligible for funded treatments.
